I always found it a bit odd. Hilarious, but it raised too many questions. When did Steve make these? Why did Steve make these? How did he manage to be so cheesy and overly sincere knowing how much crap he would get from the other Avengers for it?
Well, today my sister told me her headcanon. Picture the scene. Steve leans on the back of a chair, as above. Peter immediately launches into ‘So, you got detention…’. Cap blinks. Peter awkwardly tries to explain. It turns out Cap has no idea what videos he means, and neither do any of the other Avengers.
So they get in touch with the company who made them, and they swear blind that it was really the real Captain America, and that it all his idea. That he came in and said how much he wanted to help the youth of today.And the Avengers all lose it because someone is running around doing an unbelievably good impression of Captain America, they could have destroyed his reputation, they could have infiltrated the Avengers; and instead all they are apparently using it for is to make silly, embarrassing videos.
It’s completely baffling. Who could possibly be behind it all?

Undercover Mycroft gets into a bind and needs an extraction from Russia without blowing his cover. He’s in too finicky a spot for them to get to so after much debate they relay the plan: he needs to put himself up as a mail order bride to get shipped out. lmao except before his people can finalize the transaction Jim’s already snapped him up, cuz wow a life-sized Mycroft-lookalike what luck
Is it me or does the messenger appear to be giving Mycroft an obvious once over and seems pleased with what he sees?

And look at Myc’s little pose, he definitely pops a hip after that. I think he caught it and is preening. XD
And, his ‘Was it on fire?’ is definitely not the way someone in Mycroft’s post [especially Mycroft] would address a messenger. 🙂 definitely ‘preening’
Alright, google-fu engaged because I got intrigued:
The actor is Matthew Romain and that character is billed as “Nervous Andrew.” I went and looked at the actual scene and the poor boy is obviously intimidated as all hell by Mycroft- the up&down once over is very fast. He actually freezes while speaking and gets the patented Mycroft-brow-lift meaning “And?” before he manages to get the whole thing out, and then Mycroft relaxes. (Probably while thinking “Yep, still got it.”)
I think Mycroft might be enjoying his innate scariness/intimated arousal to junior staffers a bit too much XDDD
